Road Trip 2010

RV in Utah In June of 2010, Tom and his wife were on the road again, traveling across scenic Utah (photo on right) on their way to a family reunion back in Hayward, Wisconsin. On the way there, they stopped to see the world's largest watermelon and the world's largest boot. They also got to visit the world famous SPAM Museum. They really enjoyed the time they spent in Ames, Iowa with good friends. The family reunion was great with the entire family present. They all stayed at the Barker Lake Lodge for the week and had a fun party at the original Famous Dave's. After the reunion, they were on the road again, traveling across northern Montana on highway 2. Prior to arriving in Seattle, they visited three national parks: Theodore Roosevelt, Glacier, and North Cascades. They also stopped for photos with the world's largest twine ball, Holstein cow, and penguin. They had a great time visiting with long-time friends in Seattle. After leaving Seattle, they visited two more national parks: Mount Rainier and Olympic. Last but not least, they traveled down the beautiful Oregon coast to see four historic lighthouses.
