Hawaii Trip 2017
In March of 2017, Tom and Iris had a great time traveling to the big island of Hawaii with long time friends Rick and Val for a week of relaxation. They flew into Kona on the west side of the island and stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, a very nice resort. Much of the week was spent at the resort enjoying the pool areas and having happy hour at "our spot" while watching the sunset. They enjoyed the morning buffet everyday at the resort and an evening luau. During their stay they visited Kona, Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site, and Lapakahi State Historical Park. They enjoyed the views from Pololu Valley Lookout and Waipio Valley Lookout.
