Canada Trip 2017
In August of 2017, Tom and Iris flew to Vancouver for an adventure. They had a great time traveling across Canada by train with Tom's mom, two sisters, and brother-in-law. Prior to boarding the train, they visited the city of Victoria and Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. They also took a city tour of Vancouver including Stanley Park. After celebrating mom's birthday, they boarded the train for the four day journey to Toronto. In addition to enjoying all the passing scenery, they enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, wine tasting and beer tasting. The meals in the dining car were outstanding. From Toronto, they took a tour bus down to Niagara Falls and boarded a boat for an up-close experience of the falls. Tom and Iris continued the adventure with another train ride up to Quebec City. They enjoyed a countryside tour, a city tour, and eating lots of good food.
